Arbitrum is a Layer 2 solution for Ethereum, designed to improve the platform’s scalability and reduce transaction costs that use optimistic roll-up technology. It operates as an off-chain system that processes transactions more efficiently with faster confirmation times and lower fees.

Steps to add the Arbitrum Network to your Metamask Wallet: 

 

   1. Open your Metamask Wallet Extension, and click the network drop-down menu located. 

         

 

   2. Scroll down and click “Add Network” then search “Arbitrum one” and click “Add”

         

   3. You can add it manually by Clicking “add the network manually” and entering the following details

               Network Name: Arbitrum One

               New RPC URL: https://arb1.arbitrum.io/rpc

               Chain ID: 42161

               Currency Symbol: ETH

               Block Explorer URL: https://arbiscan.io/

 

                     

 

   4. After entering the details click “Save” and switch to "Arbitrum One mainnet". 

 

Congrats, now you have successfully added Arbitrum Network to your Metamask wallet.
