Overview:
   

    Metamask is a Software-based Wallet for cryptocurrencies that can be used as a  Web Browser Extension and  Mobile application. Metamask Wallet is a Self Custodial Wallet that allows users to interact with Decentralized Applications(DApps) based on Ethereum Blockchain. Metamask enables users to send and receive Ethereum-based cryptocurrencies and tokens securely. 

Note: 

• Metamask does not keep your Information, 

• It doesn’t keep your mail ID, 

• It doesn’t keep your Private keys,

• It doesn’t keep your Passwords and Secret recovery Phrase,

• You will retain all the Power over your Crypto Identity,

• You have to take care of all your details safely, once it is lost -it is lost that’s it, So keep your details safely and secretly.
  

How to Install Metamask Web Browser Extension?
    

Chrome:

   1. Visit: https://metamask.io/

   2. Hit "Download" in the menubar

     

   3. Click "Install Metamask for Chrome" You will be headed to the Chrome web store and then click "Add to Chrome"

       

   4. On the popup click "Add Extension"

                  

   5. After installing the extension the metamask page will ask you to agree to its Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy, So Click “Agree”. The account can be created if you click “No Thanks” also, the choice belongs to the users.

             

   6. Create your password and click on"Create New Wallet", make sure that you have given strong password.

           

   7. On the next page click on "Secure My Account".

   8. Click "Reveal Seed Phrase", and note your seed phrase (keep it safe), then click "Next" and confirm your seed phrase.

         

   9. Your Wallet has been created successfully.

         

Bravo and Edge:

   The Same Steps in Chrome Extension should be followed in other browsers like Bravo, Edge & Firefox, etc…

Mobile App:           

   Metamask app is available on both Android and iOS Play Store, download it and follow the same steps mentioned above(for mobile apps-start from the 5th step) and complete the account setup.

privacy settings:

   When installing the MetaMask extension, you can adjust privacy settings to ensure the app is set up according to your privacy preferences. Click the “Advanced configuration” button in the wallet set-up process to do this.

Here you can toggle/configure settings including:

●      Phishing detection

●      Incoming transactions

●      Additional token price information from third-party sources

●      Token autodetect

●      Batch account requests

●      Custom IPFS gateway.

   There is no need to worry if you're unsure during setup: once your wallet is up and running, you can access the same settings at any time in “Settings > Security & Privacy”.
