Kite AI has introduced the first AI-focused Layer 1 blockchain, built on the Avalanche network, creating a dedicated environment for decentralized AI development. This innovative blockchain, also named Kite AI, aims to foster transparent collaboration among data providers, model builders, and AI agents. A core component is the Proof of Attributed Intelligence (PoAI) consensus mechanism, designed to reward contributors fairly for their AI innovations.

The Kite AI blockchain leverages Avalanche's scalable infrastructure to enable high-speed processing of AI workloads, overcoming the limitations of traditional blockchains. Its features include a decentralized data access engine, a composable AI ecosystem with customizable subnets, and decentralized AI memory. The PoAI tracks and rewards AI contributions across data, models, and agents, fostering transparency and fair incentives.

The testnet, named Aero, is now operational, inviting builders, validators, and innovators to participate in refining the platform.
